Celebrate Smokey Bear’s 80th Birthday with the Sabina Public Library (11 E. Elm St. Sabina, OH). We will be holding a birthday bash for Smokey during our regularly scheduled storytimes next week and on Saturday, May 18 at 10:00 AM. You must register your child to attend the party on Saturday so that we will have enough party supplies on hand. To register, call the Sabina Public Library at 937-584-2319.
Party will include a short story and music video about Smokey Bear. A game of “Pin the Hat on Smokey” will then be played, followed by a bear craft and a birthday cupcake treat.
May 16th will kick off the Smokey Bear Reading challenge. Read 3 books and earn 4 activity badges this summer to complete the challenge. Challenge packets will be handed out during our birthday celebration or can be picked up at the library at a later date while supplies last.
