INVITING YOUR BOOK SUGGESTIONS
Clinton County Reads invites local readers to submit book suggestions for next spring’s 2026 county-wide reading events.
Between now and the end of August, readers may recommend titles on forms available at all public libraries in the county, on the libraries’ websites, in this Facebook post’s comments or in Fb Messenger, and via email to clintoncountyreads@yahoo.com.
Adult and young adult fiction and nonfiction titles are welcome.
The Clinton County Reads steering committee will consider all recommended titles and make a final selection, based on the following criteria: literary merit, appeal to a wide audience, and content that lends itself to discussions and programs.
Other considerations are book length and availability, and traditionally published works will have precedence over those that are self-published.
Inaugurated in 2006, Clinton County Reads is sponsored by the Blanchester Public Library, the Sabina Library and its New Vienna Branch, the Wilmington Public Library and its Clinton-Massie Branch, and Books ’n’ More.
Forms can be obtained at the circulation desk at the Sabina Public Library. Any adult submitting a book recommendation form in June or July will receive an entry for a prize drawing. The prize will be a basket/bag filled with art and craft supplies to coordinate with our Summer Reading Program “Color Our World”. Drawing will be held at the end of July.
