JUNE – Summer Reading Events

Our summer reading program "Build A Better World" kicks off on Monday, June 5.

During the month of June we are offering:

A Food for Fines event - Help your community while eliminating some of your overdue fines

Amnesty Day - On Thursday, June 15 return any overdue item and have all fines waived for that item

A Contest - Young patrons can "build" their own LEGO minifigure using a template given out at the circulation desk.  These will be displayed in five age categories and judged for prizes.

Two special programs - Ronald McDonald will be at the library for a 35 minute program of fun and magic on Friday, June 9 at 11:00 AM.  A craft class for adults, taught by Victoria Olds, will be offered on Monday, June 12. Drop in any time between 4:00 - 7:00 PM to learn how to create coffee filter flowers.  Registration required for craft class.

LEGO Club on Monday, June 5 from 4:00 - 5:00 PM

Build & Play Session on Friday, June 16 from 10:30 - 11:30 AM

Weekly crafts and activities such as Upcycled Planters, paper toolbelts, a chance to create the longest paper chain, a personal passport leading young patrons on a virtual trip around the world, and an earth craft.
