“Build A Better World” – Summer Reading Program

Our 2017 Summer Reading Program theme is "Build a Better World". The program will run from June 5 - August 11. Children (ages 3-12) can register for our program to receive a reading activity sheet. One sticker and one prize entry can be earned for checking out 5 picture books, 1 chapter book (book with 100+ pages), or participating in one of our weekly activities or programs. There is a limit of 3 stickers and prize entries per day. A drawing for prizes will take place on August 14.

Ronald McDonald will present a fun 35 min. program for all ages on Friday, June 9 starting at 11:00 AM at the Sabina Library and 2:00 PM at the New Vienna Library

Craft Day for Adults will be held on Monday, June 12. Registration is required. Please contact the library for details.

Bee Keeping Basics presented by Rhonda Crum at the New Vienna Library on Thursday, July 13 at 6:00 PM.

June contest: Young patrons can request a handout at the circulation desk that can be used to "build" their own LEGO minifigure. These will be displayed and judged for prizes. Five age groups: 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13+

July contest: Guess how many LEGO pieces are in the container. Contest is open to any age patron who checks out at least one item from the library.

LEGO club will meet the first Monday of each month - June 5, July 3 & August 7 - from 4:00 - 5:00 PM

Build & Play Sessions will be held on Friday, June 16 & Friday, July 21 from 10:30 - 11:30 AM at the Sabina Library and 11:00 - 12:00 at the New Vienna Library.
